On the long list of “reasons someone is a celebrity that shouldn’t be reasons someone is a celebrity”, “marrying someone really famous” is near the top. That’s of course why Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren is any sort of celebrity, and since that list and the plastic surgery master list have a ton of overlap, it should come as no surprise that she recently had some work done.
Known originally as the baby sitter who won the heart of the world’s best golfer, she became one of the most famous victims of adultery in pop culture history when it was revealed that her husband was having ongoing affairs with at least six different women! She responded first by hitting him with a golf club, then by divorcing him out of over one hundred million dollars, and now by…taking him back? Rumor has it that Tiger has been making a pitch to get her back; one that includes a nine figure prenuptual agreement; Elin hasn’t said no, so the media assumes that she’s at least considering it. If she’s not considering it, then she’s at least acting like she is, because she’s recently gone in for a tune up of sorts; getting a breast augmentation that makes her look a whole lot more like one of Tiger’s mistresses than she did before.
Okay, so we’re reaching on that theory; there’s obviously almost zero chance that she went through the trouble of getting a boob job just to impress a guy that was treating himself like the town bicycle while he was supposed to be a one woman man. However, she’s obviously trying to get herself back in the spotlight and back in demand, because she already had pretty impressive breasts that appeared to be in great shape even after having two kids. Even with a great natural chest, she decidedto jump up a cup size and lift her girls up a little bit. We’re not sure if we’d call her new breasts an improvment, but they dont look bad at all; they do look very fake however. They have a little bit of a skin stretch and shine to them, and even though they have a natural hang to them, they don’t have a natural shape to them at all. They’re the classic case of a good boob job made into a an almost boob job by the fact that the surgery wasn’t neccesary.
Whether she ends up as Mrs. Woods again or not, Elin Nordegren seems like she’s in line for more surgery in the future. As we’ve said before, fringe celebrities tend to be more inclined to have work done than real ones. Also, her life’s work, at least from a public standpoint, is based solely on her looks, so we expect her to go to any and all ends to keep those looks intact. We hope that she doesn’t go overboard, but in the next decade or so, we fully expect Nordegren to go back under the knife or at least in front of the needle.
